3D simulation of over-turned explosively formed projectile (EFP) with star-shaped fins

摘要: 利用LS-DYNA三维动力有限元程序对三点起爆的翻转型EFP形成过程及三个尾翼进行了数值模拟。计算结果与实验结果的比较表明:数值计算结果和实验结果吻合较好,可为弹丸优化设计提供重要参考依据。对药型罩材料分别选择Johnson-Cook和Steinberg两种本构模型进行了数值模拟。计算结果表明:药型罩材料的本构模型选取对形成的尾翼效果有一定影响,Steinberg本构模型与实验结果符合更好。Abstract: Formation process and the three fins of the over-turned EFP ignited at three points are numerically simulated with LS-DYNA3D finite element code. Simulated results are in good agreement with experiments, providing the important reference for improvement and optimization of EFP design. Two constitutive models, Johnson-Cook and Steinberg, have been used to model the liner material. The results show that the constitutive model has some effect on the shape of the fins and the Steinberg model appears better in reproducing the experimental results.
