Abstract
TheparametersofJohnson-CookmodelweremodifiedforOFHCcopperbythedataofexpandingringexperiment.
Thenumericalvelocityofringisconsistentwiththeexperimentalresult.
Withthewidthofringincreasingunder8mm,thepeakvalueofvelocityincreases.However,while
thewidthisover8mm,thepeakvalueofvelocityarrivesataconstant,buttheslopeofvelocityvaries
withthewidthofring.Whilethewidthofringistwiceofthickness,thestressstateinexpandingring
satisfiestheone-dimensionalstressassunption.Theresearchshowsthatthestressstateinexpanding
ringisinfluencedbythesizeofringwhileexplosiveloading.
