Abstract
Numericalsimulationswerecarriedouttoinvestigatethecharacteristicsofstandingoblique
detonationwave(ODW)fordifferentMach6.8,7.0and7.5inletflowsoverawedgeof30turning
angle.NumericalresultsshowashockwaveatMach6.8and7.0appearsatthedownstreamofthe
triplepointwhichisformedamongobliqueshockwave(OSW),ODWanddeflagrationwave,reflects
fromthewedgewall,passesacrossthecontactsurfaceandinteractswithtransversewaveswhichoriginatingfromtheODWfront.
Thisinteractionmakescellularstructureirregularandcomplex.At
thesametime,anewfeatureshowsthetransversewavespropagatebothinone-waydirectionupstreamandintwo-
waydirectiondownstreambehindtheODW.Thepropagationcharacteristicaffects
thestabilityofobliquedetonationwave.
