Abstract
Toinvestigatethewavepropagationfeaturesinanisotropicmaterialsunderplane-strainconditions,
anelastic-plasticconstitutivemodelwasconstructedbycombiningtheHookeslawofanisotropicmaterial,
theTsai-Hillyieldcriterion,theclassicfundamentalprinciplesofplasticmechanics
andthemodifiedGrneisenequationofstateconsideringthenonlinearcompressibilityofvolumeat
highpressures.Andbasedontwo-dimensionalmaterialdeformation,therotationofmaterialprincipal
axesandthemodificationofobjectivestressratewerediscussed.Thenaself-developed,explicit,dynamic,
finiteelementcodewasappliedtosimulatetheplane-stresswavepropagationincertainanisotropicfiber-
enforcedcompositesduringcollision.Theresultsshowthatstresswavespropagatingin
theabovematerialdisplaytwo-dimensional,anisotropicandelastic-plasticfeaturesunderplane-strain
conditions.
