Abstract
Thewaveletpackettransform,inwhichthewaveletDB8waschosenasthebasisfunction,
wasappliedtoanalyzethevibrationsignalsofa25-kg-TNT-equivalentexplosionvessel.Andtheprincipleandcharacteristicsofwaveletpacketanalysiswereintroducedandtheexperimentalvibrationaccelerationsignalsoftheexpl
sionvesselwerepresented.Thetime-frequencydistributionsoftheexperimentalsignalswerecalculatedbythewaveletpacketmethod.
Theresultsshowthattheenergy
distributionofvibrationoftheexplosionvesselhasaverywidefrequencyrangeandfluctuatesintensely,
andthequakeprooftrenchattenuatesapproximately97% ofthevibrationenergy.
