Abstract
Therectangulardetonationflowfieldfilledwithhydrogen-airissimulatednumericallybased
onmulticomponenttwo-dimensionalEulerequation,andeffectsofuniformincomingflowondetonationwavepropagationwerediscussed.
Fromthenumericalresults,dependingontheflowvelocity,
theapparentpropagationvelocityofadetonationwaveishigherintheupstreamdirectionandlowerin
thedownstreamdirectionthanvC-J.Thepressureoftheupstream movingdetonationishigherthan
thatofthedownstream movingdetonation.Asaresult,investigationofdetonationwavepropagation
inaflowsystembyclassicalC-Jdetonationtheoryisunsuitable.
