Abstract
Thebendingoftheprojectileintheprocessofhigh-speedpenetratingconcreteisstudiedby
simplifyingtheprojectileasafree-freebeam.Thebending momentcausedbythetransverseload
whichisgeneratedfromsmallangleofattackandpenetrationresistanceisanalyzedthroughtheoreticalwork.
Theanalysisshowedthatthetheoreticalbendingconditionisdominatedbyinitialstatus,
structureandmaterialoftheprojectile.Thecomputedresultsprovedthatthebendingofhigh-speed
penetratingprojectileisaffectedbytheexistenceofsmallangleofattack.Thepenetrationexperiment
alsoindicatesthatthebendingpositionandthebendingconditionobtainedfromexperimentresultsare
wellagreedwiththeoreticalanalysis.
