Abstract
Theseismicdataoflow-yieldexplosionearthquakeswhichtookplaceintheQuaternaryperiodsoilwerebasedontocalculatetheparticlevelocitiesofthelongitudinalan
transversalwavesand
determinetheparametersfortheexistentmodels.Thethreerepresentativemodelsweresynthetically
analyzed.Itdisplaysthatthedifferenceoftheexistentmodelsliesindifferentyieldexponents.Accordingly,
adouble-extrememodelwasproposedandthecalculationmethodofthemodelparameters
wasintroducedindetail.Comparisonofthesemodelsshowsthatthedatacalculatedbythedouble-extrememodelisthemostconsistentwiththerealobservationandtheamplitudeerrorbetweenthemis
thesmallest.Thebestresultscalculatedbythetraditionalvelocitymodelsonlyapproachthesecalculatedbythedouble-
extrememodel.
