Abstract
Abstract:Bytakingthepulsedischargeswithdifferentcapacitancesastheinputenergy,semiconductorbridges(
SCB)withandwithoutleadtrinitroresorcinate(LTNR)wereexperimentallyinvestigated,
respectively.Experimentalresultsshowthatthereexistdifferencesinignitionenergy,plasma
secondpeakappearancetimeanditsdurationtimeaswellasitspeakvoltagebetweenthetwokindsof
SCBs.TheintegralenergyofthebareSCBishigherthanthatoftheSCBwithLTNRatthesamecapacitanceanditchangeslinearlywithcapacitance,
buttheintegralenergyoftheSCBwithLTNRis
nearlychangeless.ThereasonliesinthefactthattheplasmaofthebareSCBisgeneratedintheair,
butforthechargedSCBtheplasmageneratedisusedtoheatLTNRandthenthedecompositionheat
ofLTNRcanmaintainthefollowingreaction.Furthermore,theplasmasecondpeakappearanceofthe
bareSCBislater,thesecondpeakdurationtimeislonger,andthepeakvoltageofthesecondpeakis
lowerthanthoseofthechargedSCBatthesamecapacitance.
