Abstract
Fromthephysicaldefinitionofperturbationpropagation(Machwaves),thecharacteristic
equationsofatwo-dimensionalsupersonicflowwerededucedintotheformswhichwereuncorrelated
withtheformulaofEOS.Meanwhile,anewPrantl-Meyerfunctionwasexpressedintoasimplevariablefunctionoffluiddensityalso.
Basedoncharacteristicdifference,asolutionmethodofthetwo-dimensionalsupersonicflowwasbuiltup.
Therefore,asanapplicationexampleofthesolutionmethod,
themovementoftheflyerplatedrivenbyglancingdetonationwasanalyzed.Forcomparison,DetonationdrivesoftheTNTandemulsionexplosiveswerecalculatedwithJWLandpolytropicEOSs.
The
numericalresultsshowthatcharacteristicdifferencesolutionscompletelyagreewiththeexpanding
worksofexplosiveEOSs.
