Experiment on Evaluating the Damage Power of Low Kinetic Energy Fragile Bombs

摘要: 针对防暴动能弹在应用过程中致伤致死概率较高问题,基于现有非致命武器发射载具,设计一款新型低动能易碎弹,该易碎弹兼具壳体可靠破碎和粉体分散释能特点。通过低动能易碎弹对假人靶标和明胶靶标的射击试验,得到两种靶标冲击动力响应,假人靶标试验中该新型易碎弹稳定破碎率高,动能缓释效果明显,计算得到的假人不同部位损伤评估指标均在安全阈值内,表明该款易碎弹人员打击安全性高;明胶靶标射击试验中,相同质量易碎弹和橡胶弹弹丸在着靶速度相近的条件下,内部压强峰值相差约一个量级。试验结果表明,新型低动能易碎弹通过弹头壳体冲击破碎和弹头内部填充粉体飞散,可大幅可靠消耗弹丸整体冲击动能,显著降低了非致命动能弹致伤威力,为提高防暴动能弹药安全性提供了技术支撑。

Abstract: Aiming at the high probability of injury and death in the application of anti-riot kinetic energy projectiles, a new low-kinetic energy fragile projectile is designed based on the existing non-lethal weapon launch vehicle. The fragile projectile has the characteristics of reliable shell crushing and powder dispersion energy release. Through the shooting test of the low kinetic energy fragile bomb on the dummy target and the gelatin target, the impact dynamic response of the two targets is obtained. In the dummy target test, the new fragile bomb has a high stable fragmentation rate and an obvious kinetic energy slow release effect. The calculated damage assessment indicators of different parts of the dummy are all within the safety threshold, indicating that the fragile bomb has high safety for personnel to strike; In the shooting test of gelatin target, the peak value of internal pressure of brittle projectile and rubber projectile with the same mass is about one order of magnitude different under the condition of similar landing velocity. The test results show that the new low-kinetic energy fragile ammunition can greatly and reliably consume the overall impact kinetic energy of the projectile through the impact crushing of the warhead shell and the flying of powder inside the warhead, which significantly reduces the damage power of non-lethal kinetic energy ammunition, and provides technical support for improving the safety of anti-riot kinetic energy ammunition.-
