Abstract
Aslideline/erodingalgorithm,whichwasimplementedintothe2DLagrangianelasticityplasticityhydrodynamiccodeLTZ-
2D,wasimproved.Thecellerodingcriterionwaschangedfromthe
accumulativeplasticstraintoanintegratedcriterionmadeoftheaccumulativeplasticstrain,thedimensionlessstiffnessfactorandtheangleoppositetheslideline.
Andthepenetrationproblemswere
numericallysimulatedbytheimprovedalgorithm.Calculatedresultsdisplaythattheimprovedalgorithmcanresolvetheinterfacebetweenthetwoimpactingbodiesandsmoothoutthecurvatureofth
slideline.
