Abstract
Underwaterexplosionpressuretestandgasbubblepulsationexperimentwereconductedto
obtainthetransmissionandattenuationpropertiesaswellasthegasbubblepulsationpropertiesfor
theunderwaterexplosionshockwavesofthemetal-claddetonatingcords.Andsomeunderwaterexplosionperformancesforthemetal-
claddetonatingcordswereexploredsuchasthesoundpressure
level,soundduration,reverberationeffect,andpowerspectrum.Resultsshowthatthemetal-clad
detonatingcordsdisplayahighlevelofsoundpressureandsoundpower;thatthegasbubblepulsationsfollowingtheunderwaterexplosionofthemetal-
claddetonatingcordsandtheensuinghugeamountofsmallbubbleswillpersistforalongtime,
whichcanobservablyincreasethereverberation
effectandsounddurationoftheunderwaterexplosion;andthattheunderwaterexplosionsoundofthe
metal-claddetonatingcordscoversawiderangeoffrequencies,theenergyineachofwhichispowerful,
andtheenergyinthelowfrequencyrangeisthehighest.
