                    Abstract
                            Aimedatthefactthatitisnecessarytodeterminethequantitativerelationbetweenthelocal
normaldetonationwavespeedDnandthetotalcurvaturewhendetonationshockdynamics(DSD)is
usedtostudynonidealdetonation,steady-statedetonationvelocitiesandwaveshapesweremeasured
forHMX/TNTcastexplosivesatmassratios60/40,50/50and40/60.Resultsshowthatdetonation
lagzincreaseswiththeincreaseofTNTmasspercentageanditdecreasewiththeincreaseofexplosive
density;andthatwiththeincreaseofTNTmasspercentage,theslopesofDn()curvesbecomelarge
andthechangeratesoftheslopesarepositive.Forreducingthecostsoftheexperiment,thegeneral
Dn(,Rt)lawwasinducedfromtherelationofDn(),andtherelationofRt-z-rwasobtainedbythe
Dn(,R t)law.
