Abstract
1Cr13Mo/45steelcladconticasterrollerswerepreparedbyusinganexplosivecaldmethod
toexploretheexplosivecladtechnique,andtheultrasonicscantestandmetallographwereusedtoresearchtheeffectoftheexplosivethicknessandstand-
offonthecladrollers.Investigatedresultsshow
thatthestand-offhasobservableeffectontheinterfacewavewhentheexplosivethicknessisfixed,
butwhenthestand-offisfixed,theexplosivethicknesshaslittleeffectontheinterfacewave.Finally,
abetterexplosiveprocesswasexperimentallyobtainedtomanufacture1Cr13Mo/45steelcladrollers.
