Abstract
LiquidparaffinandRDXexplosiveweremixedintocopperacetateusedasaprecursor.The
well-proportionedmixturewasinitiatedinadetonationreactioncontainerthatwasvacuumedtoprepareperfectsphericalnano-
coppercrystalparticles.Themorphologyandcompositionofthedetonationsootwereanalyzedbytransmissionelectronmicroscopy
(TEM)andX-raydiffraction (XRD).
AndthecarbonstructuresinthedetonationsootwerecharacterizedbyRamanspectroscopy.Theresultsindicatethatthestructureofthecoppernano-
particlespreparedbythedetonationtechniqueis
sphericalwithasmoothsurface.Moreover,thediametersofthecoppernano-particlesaredistributed
between150~200nm.Sothedetonationtechniquecanprovideasimpleandrapidwaytopreparecoppernano-
particleswithagoodroundness.
