Abstract
Thegenerationcauseofimpactforceduringthemicro-detonationmachiningprocesswasintroduced.
Themainprocessingparameterswereconfirmedby meansofsingle-factorexperiments.
Basedonaboveparameters,anexponential-typeempiricalmodelforimpactforcewasbuiltbyemployingtheorthogonalexperimentsandtheregressionanalysis.
Andtheinfluencesoftheprocessingparametersonimpactforcewereanalyzed.
Investigatedresultsdisplaythat:theworkingcurrentandthe
workingpressureaswellasthenozzlediameterofthemicro-detonationgeneratorarethemainprocessingparameterstodeterminetheimpactforcemagnitude.
Theimpactforcedecreaseswithanincreaseintheworkingcurrentanditincreaseswithincreasesintheworkingpressureandthenozzlediameter.
Ontheotherhand,theworkingpulsewidthandtheworkingdistancehaveinsignificantinfluencesontheimpactforcemagnitude.
Andtheimpactforcemodelisconsistentwiththeexperimental
results.Sotheresearchcanofferanimportantreferencefortheprocesscontrolofmicro-detonation
machiningwithstrikingarc.
