Abstract
Tounderstandthewholedevelopingprocessoftheflowfieldinasphericalexplosivevessel,
thepressureandtemperatureattheinternalsurfaceofthevesselweremonitoredaswellasthestrain
ofitsexternalsurface.Theexperimentalresultsshowthattheflowfieldinthevesseltendedtobe
evenaftertheblastwavesreflectedthreetimes.Thestrainwavesoftheexternalsurfaceindicatethat
theexplosiveproductsinthevesselobviouslyunderwentasecondaryreaction.Thestraingrowthappearedatallthemeasuringpositionsandthatwasthemostevidentatthemeasuringpositionopposite
theentranceofthevessel,atwhichthegrowthcoefficientoftheaveragestrainpeakarrivedat2.88.
Theprimaryvibrationofthevesselwasbreathvibration,andthefrequencyofthesecondaryprimary
vibrationwasaboutonehalfasmuchasthatofbreathvibration.Thelargeststrainoftheouterwall
ofthevesselwasabout2.510-3,thecorrespondinglargestequivalentstresswasabout80% higher
thanthestaticyieldstressofthevesselmaterial,whilethevesseldidnotpresentclearplasticdeformation.
