Abstract
Toprovidethereliablemechanicalparametersofthefusesduringpenetration,itisnecessarytostudythedecelerationoftheprojectiles.
Thepenetrationtestwascarriedoutforareduced-scale
advancedearthpenetrationwarhead(EPW)intoconcrete.Thedeceleration-timecurveoftheprojectilewasobtainedbyahardrecoverytechnique.
Thetestingsystemfordecelerationishighlymodularized,
includingatestingmodule,acircuitmodule,amemorymodule,apower-supplymoduleanda

Theprojectilemassis
about1.8kg,includingthedecelerationtestingequipmentloadedinit.Themaximumdiameterofthe
projectilesis48mm,andthestrikingvelocityis1142m/s.Thedecelerationmagnitudeobtainedby
theexperimentisapproximately20104g.
