Abstract
Themorphology,composition,structure,grainsize,surfacearea,porevolumeandpore
sizeofthedetonationproductswerecharacterizedbyusingdifferenttechniquesincludingtheX-ray
diffraction(XRD),thescanningelectron microscopy(SEM),theX-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy
(EDS)andthespecificsurfaceareaandporosityanalysis.Theresultsshowthatthelatticeconstantof
theeutecticmeltparticlesystemcomposedbysilverandasmallaccountofcopperissmallerthanthat
ofthepuresilver.TheXRDanalysesindicatethatthegrainsizeofthesilverparticlesintheeutectic
meltsystemis15.9~22.2nm.TheSEManalysesrevealthatthebiggerellipsoiddetonationproduct
particlesconsistofsomesmallsmoothsphericalsilverparticlesanddifferentcomponents,theFeOin
whichcomesfromthedetonationvessel,theamorphouscarbonfromtheorganicexplosivecombustioninthesealvessel,
andtheAlandSifromthedetonationfacility.Themorphologyinvestigations
agreewiththeXRDanalyses.Tomakeitclearthatthedetonationproductscontainingsomecarbon
powderactastheroleofadsorption,thesurfacearea,porevolumeandporesizewerealsodiscussed.
